UNMASKING ALSHABAB FIGHTERS STILL OPERATING IN BONI FOREST

The Photos are screenshots of videos taken by Second Commander Thomas Evans the British Alshabab fighter who was killed by #KDF alongside 11 others. The video ends when the militants confront KDF at a military base in Lamu. Evans is heard saying  "Come on we are winning men! Advance !Advance!  " He is then shot dead and goes silent. Evans is believed to also have filmed the Mpeketoni attack and was this time second commanding band taking videos to be later used by the Alshabab media

Majority of the Alshabab fighters  in the BONI forest are non Somali foreign fighters including Kenyans and other East Africans and European

BRITISH ALSHABAB FIGHTER KILLED BY KENYA FORCES

Thomas Evans a British citizen has been identified as one of the 11 Alshabab fighters killed on Sunday in Lamu Kenya by Kenya defence forces KDF a security official told this blog

On Sunday morning the Somali militant group attacked a military base in Lamu. The militants were however overpowered by the Kenya forces leaving 11 of them and 2 Kenyan soldiers dead

Among the dead seen in a photo shared by this blog on Facebook and Twitter was a European man

Kenya police in a statement had said that two "white" foreign fighters were killed and several weapons including AK47 rifles, grenades, PKM, rounds of ammo were recovered

The bodies of the slain Alshabab fighters are to be paraded to the public for identification an officer privy to tbe case  told this blog

Information which is yet to be made public by the Kenya Police indicate that the European Alshabab fighter is Thomas Evans

Evans reverted to Islam while he was 19yrs old according to info by British intelligence reports

The Sunday attack coincided with the 1st Anniversary of the Mpeketoni attack where more than 67 Kenyans were killed by Alshabab

A source close to the militant group told this blog that Alshabab had planned a major attack  on Sunday referring it to Bloody Sunday

A Video Camera now confiscated by Kenya security was at hand to record the attack

Two days before this latest attack Alshabab had threatened to launch attacks on Kenyan soil during the month of Ramadan which begins on Wednesday.

Kenya is on high alert following the threat

SUICIDE BOMBER IN UN SOMALIA ATTACK IS "KENYAN"

A Police source in Garowe has told me that a Kenyan was the suicide bomber  in the Monday bombing outside  the UNFAO offices in Garowe Puntland Somalia

The body of what is believed to be the suicide bomber was blown in to pieces. But according to investigators the head of the suspected suicide bomber had non ethnic somali characteristics

A close look at the photo of the of the suspected bomber affirms that

"The bomber is not a Somali. He may not be a Somali national and we are highly suspecting he is Kenyan national " a security source who sent me the photos said

Garowe police are not ruling out possibility that the attack may have been an inside job

" The suicide bomber may have been  Kenyan working for the UN. we are following leads on that"

An official statement on the identity of the  suicide bomber is yet to be issued by Puntland authorities

Earlier there had been conflicting reports over what may have caused the explosion with an initial statement from UN indicating that an IED had been used 

At least 12 people were killed in the attack including 2 Kenyans one Afghani and seven Somalis
